Voluntary social year
Giving young people perspectives
The Magstadt sports club sees itself as the largest club in Magstadt, in addition to providing sports facilities, it has a social responsibility to make important impulses and contributions to community life in Magstadt. Since the 2013/2014 school year, the Magstadt sports club, in cooperation with the Johannes Kepler community school, the four Magstadt kindergartens and the Magstadt municipality, has been offering young people the opportunity to try out “school and sport” as part of a voluntary social year and to come up with ideas for a to get a professional perspective in sport.
Teamwork comes first
The sports club in Magstadt offers good support for young people who, after school, take on a field of activity in which they need more or less support and into which experience has shown that they grow.
Recognized service
As a recognized office of the Baden-Württemberg Sports Youth, Magstadt is keen to show young people the diversity of sport and to offer attractive fields of work around the topic of exercise and sport in cooperation with the Johannes Kepler Community School and the local kindergarten. In the network of sports clubs, schools and daycare centers, FSJ'ler can work very independently and deepen their own strengths and sporting interests.

From the FSJ in training and work
