In the bowling sports department founded by Hans Kappel in 1985, sporting successes could already be celebrated in the first few years, in addition to the large increase in members, . So the social gathering and the fun of bowling quickly turned into a very successful bowling sports department at district and state level. In 2005, our first men's team reached the second round of the German Cup (in Rieth, Thuringia).

Our department, which currently has 50 members, consists of three men's and two women's teams. In the youth there is a play community with Seckach.
The teams were able to win some district and state championships and in 2013 they celebrated promotion to the highest association level. At the individual championships, several district and state titles were won, up to participation in the German championships.
